LK 2: Harry Potter and the Lost Kingdom
Mazara had an Animal Occulus. 'It controls vermin quite well,' he said to Harry Potter.
'It looks like a magnifying glass mixed with an abacus,' said Harry.
'It's an Animoculus,' said Mazara. 'Point it at rats in particular and say 'Ecanto Vermin' and they will read the thoughts of your will and carry out your wishes.'
'Fascinating,' said Harry. 'What's this?' he asked, picking up another of the treasures of the cave.
'That is Spellstone,' said Mazara. 'This island is thick with it. You keep it like crystals in a way on you when making enchantments. I have a spellstone necklace around my neck,' he said, showing Harry his necklace with a rock in it.'
'Fascinating,' said Harry. He continued on around Mazara's magical cave, asking about this and that object.
'I'm hungry,' said Harry, after a while.
Mazara took the occulus and pointed it at the walls. 'Encanto Vermin,' he said. Rats suddenly appeared and scuttled into the kitchen. Soon enough they returned, carrying platters of cheese and crackers and a jug of wine.
'Carefuly, my beauties,' said Mazara, and bent down to retrieve the platter and jug.
Harry ate some crackers. 'Why can't Digby Murdoch find a point for the lost kingdom?'
'I believe it is a quest that some fool mage must solve. To work out the mystery of the Island from the ancient records, and give us a vision of our purpose in life.'
'That sounds like a challenge. As a chosen one I wouldn't mind taking it on.'
'I officially have the task,' said Mazara. 'But I could use some help.' He pointed to ancient scrolls in the bookshelf. 'I'm still reading, but a sorcerers apprentice could get me a long way along.'
'Consider it done,' said Harry. 'I'll want a certificate upon completion of my apprenticeship.'
'Then a reference you will gain,' replied Mazara. 'Now how about another drop of the good stuff.'
So Harry and Mazara drank wine, as the rats danced a dance, and the day passed in the Lost Kingdom.

LK 5: How Digby Murdoch Became King
'It was more of a payout figure, Luna. To other claimants on the throne. Cousins and the like all over Scotland. Members of the clan who wished to inherit the properties of the Isle of Callagh's Murdoch clan. The last king died, with no progeny, and the surfs were all sending out letters to Murdoch's far and wide. There were many applications, but I was a rich businessman, nay, I still am if ye really must know, and I paid off the other inquiries with a fair reward, and they agreed for me to the be king of the Isle of Callagh, an ancient home of the Murdoch's. We have ancient records and traditions on the isle, but I'm having Mazara and his new apprentice go through them to give me a right purpose. A sense of our traditions. It's all become a bit fuzzy you see, what we're supposed to be all about.'
'I see,' replied Luna Lovegood, placing flowers carefully in vases around Digby Murdoch's den. 'So you paid for the Kingship of the Isle. And that satisfied the rest of the kin?'
'They didn't want it that much anyway. Quite a bother being uprooted from the regular world to carry on ancient traditions, but that is what the serfs wanted, and the Murdoch clan expected, and what I felt would give me a new lease of life. But it's an older world my child. And I've found the old king new wizards and ancient things, and in the old records Mazara has uncovered many a mysterious and delightful tale.'
'Oh, Britannia,' said Luna. 'Precious Albion. And all the pictlands. You are a mystery to me still. And I still need a certificate from Avalon to show my prowess. Maybe Mazara can give me a good reference if I help out in this work, and Avalon will accept my tuition for a season and a time.'
'Good luck with that,' said Digby Murdoch. 'Now where did I put my diary?'
Digby hunted around, and Luna plucked the diary from behind him, plonking it into his hands, to which he thanked her.
'I'll be going off to the kitchen to inquire into the nights food,' said Luna. 'But I'll do some more magic for ye, and will add a nice touch to the cook's expertise for the evening. To earn my keep sir.'
'Then off ye go Luna Lovegood,' said King Digby Murdoch. 'You bright little sunflower.'
Luna smiled, and left, and King Digby Murdoch of the Isle of Callagh got on with his new diary entry.

LK 6: Report to the King
Mazara, with his staff, trod carefully up the beaten track from the cave of treasures, up to the castle. Harry, Lucy & Hermione followed after him.
'So he wants his report,' said Lucy. 'Not sure he'll be happy.'
'We've worked some things out,' said Harry. 'The estate was all in a mess when the last king died, and he hadn't retained a new wizard since the passing of old Grumble back in the 1960s. We had no idea of what the magic was all about, but Mazara has combed through many of the records, and we've worked many things out. But the Kingdom is still lost.'
'I fear,' said Hermione. 'With the state of many of the scrolls and manuscripts we'll never work out half of the ancient traditions.'
'Then we do the best we can,' commented Mazara. He looked out towards the sea at the darkening sky and storms approaching. 'Come quickly. We'd best be inside before that storm breaks.'
As they neared the castle the first droplets of rain began pouring, and they were ushered inside by the staff, soon enough in the presence of King Digby in the banquet hall were feasting was under way.
'I do declare,' said Mazara, looking at Luna seated next to Digby, ever so fancifully dressed. 'That I am not sure the past king was so decadent in his ways.'
'Hardly that,' said Digby. 'The serfs want a break for a while. They'd worked hard.'
'Aye,' said Colman Connelly. 'The prior King always had us about our duties. We're commited to the Isle of Callagh. We neeed a break.'
'As he said,' replied King Digby. He put down his fork and sipped on wine. 'What do you have to tell me?'
'Much,' said Mazara. 'This is the Kingdom of Murdoch of Callagh. That much was well enough known. The Kingdom has a long and proud history, dating back nearly 3 thousand years. It is steeped in traditions, which have largely fallen astray, especially in modern times. But Beltane is usually celebrated, and hunting parties to the forest of the mountains took place most years. The trade is as the serfs are currently doing in farmstuffs and the like, but Spellstone is usually carved out of the rocks, and past mages made a profit for the Kingdom selling such stuff to the Ministry of Magic's representatives who occasionally visited the Isle. There is also a long history of trade in silver and gold trinket making, and many of the beaten down buildings on the edge of the castle estate were devoted to such things. In our estimation such things are potentially restorable now, as muggledom and wizardom still entertains such delights quite happily. But there is a lot to report. Harry has written up the extensive report.' Mazara turned to Harry. 'Give it to Digby.'
'Your majesty,' said Harry bowing, and placed two scrolls on the table in front of King Digby.'
'I wrote one of them,' said Hermione, a little proudly. 'Many issues they hadn't touched on I felt important to state.'
'Don't I know it,' said Harry under his breath.
'Very good,' said the King. 'I shall read them with delight.'
'One last thing,' said Mazara. 'The singer of Queen. Freddie Mercury. He was employed briefly as a Harlequin in 1984 for the prior King. For a show the king wanted. The Kingdom traditionally entertains a Jester and a Harlequin.'
'Then such a thing will be restored,' said King Digby. 'Now please, join us for the feast.'
So Mazara took a seat, and Harry, Hermione and Lucy joined him, and as feasting got underway, Harry smiled at Hermione, who nodded his attention to Luna who seemed to be having the time of her life seated next to King Digby Murdoch.

LK 7: Symphonia Natura
'It's called Symphonia Natura,' said Lucy, dusting off the dust from the cover of the ancient book.
'Let's see what it says,' said Hermione, turning the cover over with Lucy.
'What have you got there?' asked Harry, from his desk, with Mazara looking at some trinkets.
'Oh, nothing,' said Hermione.
Harry stared at them, but soon returned to his work with Mazara.
Lucy started reading.
'The Kingdom of Callagh has long celebrated the glories of nature. The natural world is a thing of beauty and wonder, and when the feast of Callagh is celebrated every October 1st, the Symphonia Natura is placed in Canners Hollow, to bring about a wonderful song of the natural world.'
'Right,' said Hermione. She turned the page, and there was a large picture of a round metallic object, with pockets in its side, where gems of various types were placed.
'What does it do?' asked Hermione.
Lucy continued reading. 'When the gems are affixed, and incantations sung properly, the wild will attract, and the song and feasting should be grand and glorious of course.'
Lucy turned the page and the various incantations were shown.
'That's in the other room,' said Harry, who was suddenly in front of them. 'Mazara. They've found the purpose for that metal object. The big lunky thing,' said Harry.
Mazara stood and looked at the manuscript. 'Let's dust it off.'
They went into the other room, and pulled a blanket from off the Symphonia Natura.
'The gems. We'll need the gems,' said Lucy.
Hermione, Harry, Mazara and Lucy spent the next half an hour scouring the cave, eventually retrieving the correct gems from various hiding places.
'We should probably wait till October 1st then,' said Hermione. 'It would be the done thing.'
'It's only a month away,' said Mazara. 'I will talk to Digby. We'll see what can be arranged.'
The wizards marvelled at the Symphonia Natura, while Lucy and Hermione were assigned to study the manuscript for the next few days to nut out properly how the thing worked. The results of it in action, well, they all looked forward to now.

LK 8: The Cave of Treasure's Hidden Entrance
'Come with me,' said Mazara.
The trio of wizard and witches followed Mazara into the back room of the cave. Mazara took a key and opened the big clunky door Lucy had been noticing and wondering about since first being employed by King Digby to assist him in uncovering the ancient traditions of the Lost Kingdom.
'So you had the key all along,' said Lucy.
'Nothing to say,' said Mazara. 'Hermione. Light if you will.'
Hermione took out her wand and chanted 'Illuminos,' and light started glowing from Hermione's wand. The door was opened, and the smell of seawater hit their nostrils.
'Come along,' said Mazara.
They came into a room, and there was a staircase carved out of the rock which went downwards. They followed it down and soon came into a large cavern with an outlet of the ocean at their feet.
'You know the whirlpool out in the ocean down in front of the cave,' said Mazara. 'Every now and again it whirls around, trapping something, which often washes underwater, but floats up into this cave.'
'It's a hidden entrance,' exclaimed Hermione.
'Dare swimming it if you will,' said Mazara. 'But not when the whirlpool runs its course, or ye'll be splattered right back into the cave.'
Hermione pointed her wand around and they could see splattered planks of wood and other debris which had been washed inside the cave.
'It's obviously a secret escape route of sorts,' said Mazara. 'Whey the stairwell was carved out in ancient days. I'd imagine it might have been used once or twice to evade invading vikings or the like. Only history knows the truth of that. Or there is probably tales to tell in the records. I dare say we might find something one of these days.'
Lucy bent down and picked up a shell, and there were a number of them washed up on the grotto floor. 'A grotto of hidden delight leading to the cave of treasures. How romantic, Harry.'
'Don't let it go to your head, Lucy. But good to know.'
They looked around a little while longer, before Mazara indicated time to retreat, and they made their way back up the stone stairwell, through the door, and Mazara locked it behind them.
'Where do you hide the key?' asked Lucy.
'Never you mind,' said Mazara. 'But I will tell you I keep it in this back room, if you ever have need to search for it in an emergency.'
'Or go off and smoke a cigarette,' chuckled Harry.
'Leave my ciggies alone,' said Lucy. 'A witch can puff as well, pipeman.'
'Funny,' said Harry, who had taken to smoking a pipe at the feasting hall in the palace, given to him by one of the serfs.
Soon enough they were back to their research, but Lucy paused to look towards the back room, and smiled at another thrill on her new magical commission.
